Australian Government Bans Chinese-Made Cameras Manufactured By Dahua And Hikvision

Australia recently announced that it will be removing cameras made by Chinese companies Dahua and Hikvision from its government offices and buildings. This decision follows an intelligence assessment that deemed the cameras to be a risk to national security. The cameras are notorious for their ability to send data back to their manufacturers in China, raising concerns about the potential for Chinese espionage. This move is a strong statement from Australia about the importance of protecting its data from foreign interference. It is an interesting development in the ever-evolving world of cyber security.
